About Extend-A-Family Kingston:

Extend-A-Family (EAF) was established in 1981 with the goal of providing individuals who have a disability with opportunities to develop friendships and integrate into their communities. Extend-A-Family Kingston is committed to providing a range of supports and services to individuals with a disability and their families. As a not-for-profit organization, Extend-A-Family Kingston is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. We provide a choice of services and supports for children with developmental disabilities, physical disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders as well as a range of services and supports for adults with a developmental disability. The programs for children include family support, respite, inclusive seasonal camps, recreational programs and community participation supports. While the Adult Day Program focuses on enhancing social, educational, healthy lifestyles and providing recreational opportunities for all program participants.

Our Mission:

Extend-A-Family Kingston is a registered charity providing individuals with disabilities and their families with coordinated access to regional services, respite, inclusive programs and opportunities for personal growth, development and achievement of life goals.

How You Can Support Us:

We are part of the Community Spirit Gaming Association, and with this contract means that we, as a member organisation, are responsible for complying and participating in all policies and standards, training programs, and other tools that are developed or implemented by your Charitable Gaming Centre Association, Ontario Charitable Gaming Association (OCGA), and Ontario Lottery and Gaming (OLG). Each charity holds a permit to fundraise at Community Spirit Gaming Centre (the business) and sends volunteers to provide necessary customer service at registered community bingo events. The revenue earned at OLG is then distributed monthly to the member charities and is essential to supporting the programs and individuals we serve.
